Camping

  I went camping this weekend with my husband and some friends.  We had a great time, but it was really cold and really windy. We hiked over 8 miles in two days and I am feeling it today.  The weather was beautiful!  I took these with a point and shoot, hiking in my nice camera didn't seem like a good idea because it is heavy and the possibility of rain : /  enjoy!  

We hiked over to Iron Mountain shelter near Shady Valley

        

I was so ready to eat when we arrived at the shelter.  We had gourmet pasta and sauce with granola and hot cocoa for dessert:) hmm



This is our little shelter where we slept with a lady sectional hiker (hiking the AT one section at a time) and three thru hikers (hiking the whole AT at one time)!

My mountain man....

The sunset made the sky so pretty, it was a perfect night for camping... until the sun went down.

Hello

Leah Teague and I threw a shower for Matt and Mandi last weekend, here are some pics :) It was a country-vintage theme.

I converted some of there pictures into vintage looking ones to create a picture board.

The calender worked out really well, she's taking it to all of her other showers so everyones important dates can be in one place. I had it printed using pictures from a photo shoot last year.
